Salman is a visual storyteller based in Greater New York area. He earned his BFA in Photography and MFA in Filmmaking.

Before changing direction to pursue his passion in fine arts, he was studying math and physics. He consequently benefits from a problem solver and detail-oriented mind with a numerically precise eye in framing compositions found in geometric shapes of lights and shadows.

Nature is what nourishes him, so while his batteries are in charge, he can be found traveling through untraversed roads with his friends seeking essential inspirations. Being passionate in music and having a keen eye in photojournalism, he has worked as Content Creator and Director of Photography for multiple music festivals and performance events, jumping between the stage and backstage covering every fleeing moment. He successfully has delivered high volumes of visual contents for various social media platforms under tight deadlines.

His creative practice includes a wide range of activities from production to post production. With directing and cinematography of traditional narrative shorts along with creating visual effects, animation, motion graphics and 3D Virtual Reality, he’s proved not only he’s technically skilled at working with different camera gears, sound recorders, studio lighting, but also he has an expansive knowledge of software including Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Unity 3D, Unreal Engine, Blender.
